Homemade ginger tea
ginger tea

Use 10-12 slices of ginger root for each cup of tea desired.
For a stronger ginger tea, slice very thin or grate.
You can leave the skin on or gently scrape it off with a knife or spoon.

Add slices to water and bring to a boil.
Simmer for 10-20 minutes
(or longer depending on desired strength.)
The slices can be reused a couple
of times if you wish.

Strain tea into your favorite teacup,
add honey or lemon (optional)
and enjoy the spicy tea.
